Rosa Montero nació en Madrid y estudió Periodismo y Psicología. Me quedo deseando que hubiera un siguiente capítulo. La medida exacta entre la biografía del dictador y la presencia femenina en su conflictiva y destructiva vida. Recuento sin concesiones para ninguno de la pareja, aunque no sólo aparece la mujer como pareja sino como madre, hermana, hija, cuñada. De interés histórico indiscutibe, el libro ayuda a conocer mejor a personajes terribles que ensangrentaron las páginas de la Historia, y a las mujeres, que para bien y para mal, los acompañaron en esa trayectoria. Ahora esperaríamos la siguiente entrega, de este lado del Atlántico: las mujeres de Pinochet, de Perón, de Trujillo, de Somoza, de Videla, hay tanta tela de donde cortar que esperemos que la autora nos invite a conocer este aspecto de la vida no tan oculta de los siniestros personajes históricos que son los dictadores.

Me resultó un libro muy entretenido, y al ser sólo 4 personajes de la historia, la autora se pudo explayar sobre la personalidad de cada uno de ellos, ademas de la de sus mujeres

La historia de las mujeres detrás de los dictadores es menos conocida, sin lugar a dudas, pero yo la creo más interesante. Rosa Montero nos la relata muy bien. La que más me interesa es Carmen Polo, la esposa de Franco. Ella era una verdadera dictadora en si misma.

Sorprendida! He sido lectora entusiasta de los trabajos de la exscritora Rosa Montero y este trabajo no parece de su autoria. Se trata de una recopilacion de datos relacionados con estas mujeres pero mas parece un trabajo de investigacion que otra cosa. Me deilusiono. Alguien me comento que la Sra. Montero fue el hilo conductor de una documental sobre este tema y que decidieron recopilar la informacion que sirvio de base al mismo. Hummm. No me convencio.

Un libro bastante decepcionante de Rosa Montero. Mala y pobre investigación, mal trabajo, mala redacción; en pocas palabras, un libro tremendamente aburrido que nada deja al lector, excepto un gran vacío y una gran decepción.

Rosa Montero nos regala nuevamente una mirada a la historia a través de la vida de estas mujeres. Nadie mejor que ella para contarlas con tal precisión y honestidad.

Interesante conocer pasajes de la historia, infelices, y comprender el contexto qn que estas mujeres fueron protagonistas y a veces víctimas de sus compañeros
