I thought the story. Was kinda predictable. Nothing suprised me, even down to the ending. As I was reading. I was getting flashbacks of two. Seperate novels. That kinda share the same plot and characters. I do appreciate the Antagonist being a regular woman, with flaws. All in all it was a quick non-climatic read. I would ask that the author.Tries to step out her comfort zone a little.

I’m trying to figure out who’s worse Dwayne or Juju, the length he went through all because he couldn’t live in his truth. Cortez I’m loving his energy and vibe but Winter better watch out for Kiondra she’s going to be a problem...

Idk how tf Winter didnt see that something wasnt right about Dwayne. I give it to him. He hid it very well and then to have a wife and 4 kids on the side was way more than having a double life. I really like Boss but he is definitely self medicating and he's going to break eventually. I felt so bad for Neo and Ocean. I like them as a couple even though they are different from the norm. I believe that Camila is a part if the Cartel and has hidden it very well. She doesn't come off as complete clean in all of this. I can't wait for part 2

First off this has to be THE WORST book I’ve read from this author. I honestly couldn’t get into it. It was soooo predictable that I skipped over majority of it and was still able to piece everything together. And let’s not talk about the ending! Wtf was that?!? Yes it had its moments were you sympathized w/some of the characters and those were the only parts that I could actually read without being bored. Then there were characters that really didn’t need to be in the book at all such as JuJu. She was literally a person I feel was created just to put up the word count. More over the whole fact this man faked his own death just to be a homo was all around unrealistic & uncalled for especially making Winter’s life a whole lie in the process. & now he wants to kill his wife rmfe & bore me less. I mean we all knew he was a fruit cake and he wasn’t dead but how friggin corny and dramatic. Idk if I want to read part 2 but I also want to hope that the author was having an off time writing this and will come back with a vengeance for part 2!!! I gave this book 1 star for the simple fact that I had to.

I love Diamond Johnson she will take you through every emotion before she give you a great ending. This book was good. What length will you go to keep a secret to live your life they way you want too. I love winter she been through so much and she about to get a break in meeting Boss. I was sad for Ocean because her husband love her a mistake he made a long time ago might end his marriage. Camila is on the case to find out what going on with her husband. I hope part 2 doesn't take long I need answers even though I kind of saw that ending. Julius and juliana. 👀

Wow good read i really hope winter and boss get together they deserve each other, i can't stand kiandra and boss should have fired her a long time ago, her, sandra and juju i can't wait until they all get their karma, hell dewayne too i knew he faked his death smh. Juju foul i don't care what nobody say, she so busy tryna protect her cuzzin and he doing her foul too talking about loyalty girl bye. I dont like camilla, juju, sandra, or dewayne, can't wait for part 2

I knew Dwayne was alive and doing some jacked up shit to his 6 kids...smh. Then his cousin Juliana just as low down. However, I'm enjoying the development between Boss & Winter. She has been through enough and deserve happiness. Now, Neo knew he messed up and I dont understand why he wouldn't just tell the truth. His wife would be hurt but more understanding. Now she probably feels betrayed and like he will cheat again. I hope pt 2 coming soon.

Winter just couldn't seem to catch a break. Her mom was evil and then searching for love in the wrong places landed her back in hell with two children to depend on her. Dewayne has got to pay for his deceiving conniving selfish ways. Cortez I like him Winter deserves true happiness hopefully Cortez can give her that and she can get her tubes reversed and make Cortez a father. Hurry up part 2 please let Teagan and her daughter make it.
