I purchased this to 'check out' for my college students, most of whom are being introduced to serious study of the NT for the first time. The format is very nice in includes miracles and parable listings. However, after spending time looking up the verse references, I found that dozens are not correct. The document needs to be seriously re-edited and re-published. Until that happens, do not purchase this guide. I cannot recommend for my students.

This pamphlet lays out the four gospels and their events in an easy to understand format. The four gospels each tells Jesus's story from its own point of view. A story may be found in all of the gospels, while another story may only be found in just one of the gospels. The charts lays it all out for you. There is a chart for all the events, one for miracles, one for the parables, and another for all the places he visited. The chart works by listing the event and where it can be found in Matthew, Mark, Luke or John by scripture reference.The pamphlet has a section that also gives you an overview on the gospels themselves, what viewpoint they were written from, and who the audience was that the author was writing to. There is also a map of Israel during Jesus' time that depicts what cities existed at the time and which are still present today.This pamphlet is very visually engaging and would be very helpful to have handy in a Bible class or in your own personal study.

This is a small quick reference guide on the four Gospels. A 6 small paged fold out. Most reference Bibles have these charts in them. I bought this because it was a quicker reference then going to the bible and searching the back pages for the charts or the table of contents for the pages for the charts. Good to stick in the front of your bible as a quick reference.

I've always believed in the Bible, but there have been too many times when my faith was shaken by books, commentators, even scholars who took notice of what I called trivialities and expanded on them . I know from life that if 4 witnesses come forward, I'll hear 2 - 4 variances on what occurred. They meatball but all saw the event from different vantage points. None are wrong, they saw what they saw. So the gospels were written sometimes based on what t h e author saw or was told. Mark was either a son or close follower of Peter, he apparently was better educated than a fisherman, so he wrote what he heard Peter say. All of our memories erode or vary in time. None of the gospels were written immediately after Christ's appearance. There was a great deal more that happened, than was told writing materials had a cost and were not always available. Bottom line was we are told what we need to hear. The differences add depth to me. Like a movie we see the same s scene from different angles and characters. I do believe, and follow Jesus. I see no problems with slightly different angle views. Read for yourself,you'll be glad you did.

I'm reviewing both the e-version and the hardcopy, as well as customer service. The e-version does not format with iPad Kindle reader, so that was fairly useless to me after I downloaded it (the Kindle reader incompatibility was listed in an obscure place I didn't notice until after ordering). The recognize this and give you an opportunity to download a pdf version, and if you wish, to print it. That wasn't quite going to work for me either, but I really liked the content of the material, so I contacted customer service. Kaitlin at customer service was wonderful. I decided I wanted the hard copy pamphlet instead, so she graciously refunded the 3.99 for the download and sent me the hard copy for only the shipping charge of 3.99. If I had ordered the hard copy that way in the first place, it would have been 3.99 for the pamphlet and 3.99 shipping, so her excellent help got me what I needed and saved money.The content is exactly what I needed -- something brief to compare the Gospels as I study them, and it is compact enough that I can keep it folded in my Bible for quick reference. Keep in mind that this is a pamphlet with summary level of info, not a comprehensive comparative analysis. For the price, it is an especially helpful guide and well worth it. I didn't realize when ordering that this is from a protestant prospective. If you're a catholic then you'll be disappointed with the fact of missing instrumental information specifically on catholic doctrine. However the quality is very durable. Should last a lifetime.
