Life changer. This will change the way you pray and increase your relationship with Christ. It will provide a more calm, peaceful approach life using God's word to show us a practical way to rely on him in all things. My bible study group read this along with the workbook and video. It has been one of our favorite studies.

I liked the examples of answered prayer. I liked the personal growing of the author as he has not “arrived”.I thought some of the exegesis was faulty. Much of the premise was pragmatic rather then biblical. The practice of waiting on God is a lost art that needs rediscovering and this book for all its opinions supporting interpretation of scripture is still a great read.It draws the attention of the reader to key biblical passages that need to be meditated on as the author has demonstrated that he has engaged in them.

I did not feel the study guide was necessary at all. I felt much was redundant if you read the main book.

Used for Women's group and we loved it.
