This seems to be a highly controversial book, yet I find it superb. This prompted me to give a full-length review.The author starts by talking about many known gurus and organizations, always exposing their flawed teachings and dogmas, backed up with quotes by Lahiri Mahasaya, Paramahansa Yogananda, Ramana Maharshi, etc, instead of doing personal attacks (that would've put me off.)It also talks about many known Kriya themes, but in a completely different perspective.Eg.: Many people talk at length about Mahavatar Babaji â€¦ as if he was an incarnated being, etc. What the author says, I have found nowhere else, and completely discloses Babajiâ€™s true identity in simple words, completely in alignment with Lahiri Mahasayaâ€™s words.The authorâ€™s view is also the same as the Upanishads and Lahiri Mahasaya, unlike many gurus these days: The True Guru is the Self.Regarding worship, many gurus and organizations do puja and rituals, and the author shows us that true devotion and worship is practicing Kriya and staying in the Paravashta state after Kriya.Some of the teachings in this book go even deeper, regarding deep sleep, awareness and the background witness. This I really enjoy, because although I had exclusively practiced Kriya Yoga for a long time, something was lacking. When I found out about this book, it all changed. I finally "understood". It's unfortunate that many Kriya gurus or books don't go this deep and more in line with Advaita teachings.About the techniques part: It's pretty straightforward on the First Kriya, no fireworks, just practicing what truly works. What I particularly enjoy is the addition of a new technique to awaken the Kundalini quickly. It's indeed powerful, and clear instructions are given, although more emphasis and detail could've be given here. This technique alongside Kriya Pranayama is a bomb.The author indirectly advocates practicing Kriya Yoga and Atma-Vichara/Jnana Yoga, and that the combination of both will get you enlightened. This is very well explained in the book. Energy and wisdom must be cultivated side by side.About the Final Higher Kriyas - I will not reveal them - I just have to say that I'm in favor of what was taught in that chapter. Many people will dislike it, especially those blind by the gurus and organizations, believing that "solely practicing Kriya techniques is the fastest route to God".Those who want to dwell in overly complicated techniques or are in the honeymoon period with their guru/organization - don't bother with this book;Those who want to really be enlightened - this is it.Although it's not a big book, this is not a bad thing, it just shows that unlike other Kriya books, the author didn't add 100 unnecessary pages full of useless BS. It's clear, to the point, and also has content that I've never read in other Kriya books.The Kriya Yogi Story was one of my favorite parts of the book, alongside the true meaning of Kutastha and the deep explanation of Lahiri Mahasaya's quote about the Yugas-Kriya metaphor.Even if you have never practiced Kriya Yoga before, but are into spirituality, enlightenment and freedom, this is a tremendous read, full of spiritual wisdom. If you are an earnest seeker, you must give this book an open-minded attempt.For me - no more dualism, superstition and beliefs. I have the conviction that this book might help you cut those chains as well.Some great quotes from the book:"You must stay in the â€œAfter-Effect-Poise of Kriyaâ€ over and over and over again, day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, until your I-ness, your I-ego, dissolves. The river of your identity must be discharged into the Ocean of Consciousness.""Imagine a person being held underwater. How keen is he to rise to the surface to breathe air? Your desire for the Truth must be as strong as that personâ€™s desire for air.""True Enlightenment is not based on mathematics, itâ€™s based on love."

Just short of 50 years Iâ€™ve been off and on trying to advance with my kundalini and kriya practice. Now I know why Iâ€™d come to an impass or discouragement... I didnâ€™t have the techniques! When I received shaktipat in the early 70â€™s at age 23, I only had my inner guru as guide. This was fine initially and occasionally along the way when I simply surrendered and was spontaneously able to move ahead a bit. But, real progress didnâ€™t come. Thanks to SantataGamana and Ennio Nimis I can carry on now even though I am in my seventh decade and have but a few more years on this earth plane! Whereas neither my devotion to PY (never to the organization) nor several dozen trips to India nor academic research and dissertation, nor all the numerous scriptures and books I read nor gurus I met... none provided the practical 1 2 3 as here. Thank you deeply!

Imagine the time it will take you to travel a thousand mile distance by bike; then just imagine traveling the same distance by private jet. This my friend, is your private jet to Freedom, that's all I can say; a treasure to find. Not only the author wipes out all the taboos and dogmas and egotistical tendencies; but he also gives you the drive as kriya yoga techniques he gives are neither so complicated, nor unpleasant to do. He give you a crystal clear road map to your ultimate destination: Yourself. I highly recommend this book

This book came to me in a vision during Kriya Yoga. Not the physical book but the message of the power and golden treasure in "Post-Kriya Awareness". I found this book to be filled with knowledge for kriyabans of all types. This book has no ego and has no dogma. It is pure and genuine. Thank you for this blessings, my kriya practice has never been better.

I think the most important thing in this book is not exposing organizations and guru's, but shedding light on the true Kriya practice and it's simplicity. If you ever studied Kriya, you know that it can get overly complicated, too many names, formulas, complex techniques, etc... I often wondered if searching for God should be a complex task; and not only this, if a guru in a human form was essential for this process. We have everything we need in order to find liberation in ourselves: "Self is the one and only Guru".The book takes some weight off Kriya practice, it turns you within, instead of battling too much with techniques. I highly recommend reading "The Secret Power of Kriya Yoga", from the same author. It's an amazing complement to this book.

Largely devoted to criticizing other teachers without identifying them by name. Decries Kriya modifications, then offers its own modified "Kriya". Teases the reader to the end, with some awesome "never before revealed Final Special Kriya" which turns out to be just sitting quietly. This book should be ignored in favor of other Kriya instructors and books.
